Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including electrical repairs, mechanical troubleshooting, lawn, and plumbing work.
- Execute residential painting projects to enhance the aesthetics of the facility.
- Operate and maintain logic controllers and other automated systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate repair schedules to minimize disruption to operations.
- Utilize welding techniques for structural repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, plumbing, and general repair work.
- Experience in residential painting techniques is preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and automated systems is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities.
