What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grants Coordinator position at State of South Carolina?
Under limited supervision, the Grants Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the pre-award ad post-award activities for sponsored funds. Will work across divisions and with external partners to ensure the grants are properly managed and used in the most beneficial way. Will assist with budgeting and tracking of grant funds and provide reporting as needed.
Your responsibility will be to:- Develop and coordinate grant activities
- Maintain records of grants, budget, and activities
- Monitor and report on grant progress
- Assist in the preparation of grant applications
- Provide guidance and support to grantees
- Grant Reconciliation /Closeout Reporting
- Assist with programmatic reporting
- Complete FFATA Reporting
- Complete Financial Status Reporting
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of experience with grant compliance, reporting, and budget coordination.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of grant compliance, reporting and budget coordination
