JOB OVERVIEW
✔ Strategic Kids seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Hiring Operations Associate to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition Team.
✔ Working with various Directors, the Hiring Operations Associate will support and streamline the Strategic Kids recruitment and hiring processes to ensure a smooth, efficient, and effective candidate experience.
✔ The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, impeccable administrative skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for screening, hiring, and onboarding K-12 Paraeducators (Teacher Aides, Campus Supervisors, Nutrition Assistants, etc.) and K-6 Enrichment Instructors (Chess, Origami, Cartooning, LEGO, etc.).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✔ Recruitment Process Support: Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including screening candidates on really and other job platforms, scheduling phone and in-person interviews, managing candidate communication, and ensuring timely follow-ups with candidates.
✔ Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Maintain and update candidate records in the ATS, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with hiring protocols. Strategic Kids currently uses Google Workspace for the ATS.
✔ Data Entry and Reporting: Compile and track key hiring metrics, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate pipeline status, and generate reports for Strategic Kids Directors and the Strategic Kids President.
✔ Job Posting and Sourcing: Assist with posting job openings on various job platforms, social media sites, and other online locations. Support the sourcing of candidates through outreach in the Orange County community.
✔ Onboarding Support: Collaborate with HR, the Paraeducator & Enrichment Hiring Directors, and the Director of Scheduling to ensure a seamless transition from offer acceptance to onboarding, including document collection and preparation of offer letters.
✔ Candidate Experience: Maintain a positive and professional relationship with candidates throughout the interview and hiring process. Respond to candidate inquiries in a timely manner and ensure a high-quality experience.
✔ Process Improvement: Assist with developing and implementing streamlined processes to improve recruitment efficiency and the candidate experience. Recommend areas for improvement based on feedback and performance data.
✔ Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR Team, the Paraeducator & Enrichment Hiring Directors, and the Director of Scheduling, including calendar management, completing interview documents, and assisting with various tasks.
✔ Teaching Experience: Step in to lead Enrichment Classes, such as Chess and LEGO, at K-6 schools when coverage is needed.
✔ Orientation Support: Facilitate Orientations for newly hired Enrichment Instructors.
QUALIFICATIONS
✔ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
✔ Experience: 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, HR operations, or a related administrative role, with a focus on positions involving K-12 children.
✔ Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Proficient in and familiarity with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Calendar, Voice, etc.). Experience with data entry, reporting, and analytics is a plus.
✔ Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates, Strategic Kids Support Staff, the HR Team, the Paraeducator & Enrichment Hiring Directors, the Director of Scheduling, the Scheduling Team, and the Strategic Kids President. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
WORK SCHEDULE
✔ Monday to Friday
✔ 8 hours daily
✔ 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
✔ Remote (1 to 2 days per week)
✔ In-person at Strategic Kids Offices in Laguna Hills (3 to 4 days per week)

✔ Pass Live Scan Fingerprints through Dept. of Justice (paid for by Strategic Kids)
✔ Work assigned schedule or any modifications
