Strategic Solutions Unlimited, Inc. SSU’s Construction Department is currently recruiting a Construction Project Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successful program management in the construction industry, demonstrating strong leadership, strategic planning, and execution skills. Additionally, we seek an individual who is adept at client relationship management, adept at problem-solving, and dedicated to driving continuous improvement within the construction program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all SSU Safety Policies, OSHA, customer and/or site-specific safety requirements.
- Abide by all SSU policies as found in the “SSU Employee Handbook”
- Manage and oversee modular construction projects from contract to completion in accordance with the contract Terms & Conditions, Scope of Work, Specifications/plans, Schedules, and other contract deliverables
- Work within deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process from hiring sub-contractors to working with engineers, architects, and clients.
- Determine resource requirements (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations and schedule requirements
- Work closely with Site Superintendents (both internal and external) to manage daily activities on construction sites
- Act as the Primary Point of Contact on projects for SSU for Customers, Architects, Engineers, Sub-Contractors, and Building Officials
- Utilize SSUs’ project management software for various aspects of the project including, but not limited to; Budget, Schedule, RFIs, Submittals, Commitments, Prime Contract, Change Orders, Meeting Minutes, Photos, Punch Lists
- Manage the overall project schedule using Microsoft Project
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all applicable building codes and in accordance with construction drawings
Qualifications and Skills:

- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project/Smartsheets.
- Experience with Project Management Software (i.e. Procore or similar)
- Minimum of 5 years of Construction Project Management experience.
- Must be willing to travel and stay overnight for up to 14 days at a time (Worldwide). Current passport holder is a plus.
- Must be a US Citizen or Legally Authorized to Work in the United States
- Must be able to pass US Gov security background check for Secret or above along with various criminal history background checks (i.e. FBI Criminal History, Child Abuse, etc.) Active Secret or above clearance preferred.
- College Degree or Equivalent Experience
