Stuntzner Engineering & Forestry, LLC is seeking candidates for an open position as Administrative Assistant in its Coos Bay, Oregon office. Stuntzner Engineering has a long history serving clients all over Oregon as part of its mission to serve rural communities with quality land and natural resource management services. Stuntzner Engineering’s Coos Bay office has provided these services since 1968. To fulfill our mission, additional staffing is currently required.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide administrative and general accounting support to Accounting department and others as needed/requested
- Front desk duties will include answering and transferring incoming telephone calls, taking credit card payments in person and via telephone, and other miscellaneous office support duties as required
- Prepare and maintain accounting systems/documents
- Enter key data for financial transactions on a daily basis
- Compile data and assist Office Manager with preparing various reports
- Support month-end closings and assist with year-end closings
Qualifications:
- Data entry experience
- Professional attitude toward fellow employees and clients
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of classified information
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills; able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information skillfully
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and aptitude for quickly learning new software applications; experience with Ajera a plus
- Prior experience with Accounting preferred
Job Type: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm
