Survey Manager

Duties

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of survey projects, including planning (budgeting), execution, and reporting.
• Manage field crews
• Coordinate with branch offices for job prioritization and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain project schematics.
• Analyze geographical data using GIS software to support project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding surveying practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to integrate survey data into project designs.
• Train and mentor junior survey staff on best practices and technical skills.
• Review and validate survey results for accuracy before submission to clients.
  
  

Skills

• WV Professional Surveyor license preferred. Additional state licensures a plus.
• 10 years experience preferred in land surveying
• Management experience a plus
• Proficiency in Carlson Surv CAD
• Experience in oil & gas industry road design & well pad design, construction layout, ALTA and boundary surveys.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and team members through excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in land surveying.
