Job Summary
This role leads full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, risk management, internal controls, and external audit coordination. The Manager will optimize monthly close processes and ensure compliance with GAAP. This is a growth opportunity for a career-driven individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting and monthly close process.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting (income statements, balance sheets, management reports).
- Supervise and develop accounting staff.
- Improve efficiency through automation.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial schedules.
- Manage SAP distribution and cost/profit center maintenance.
- Analyze transactions for GAAP compliance.
- Collaborate across departments to enhance processes.
- Lead special projects as needed.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree, 7 years of accounting experience, SAP expertise, GAAP/SOX knowledge, CPA (or pursuing), project management, and audit experience.
- Preferred: Big 4 experience (3 years), local to St. Petersburg.
- Results-driven, data-oriented, and strong leadership communicator.
- Skilled in coaching, delegation, process management, and team-building.
