We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Order Management Specialist to join our team at Supreme Tile & Stone. The Order Management Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of order processing, from vendor communication and coordination to handling invoicing, estimates, and purchase orders. This role requires proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks and a willingness to adapt to new systems such as Odoo as we upgrade our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Handle all steps of the order process, including issuing purchase orders and overseeing order fulfillment with vendors.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of products. Act as the primary point of contact for all vendor communications.
- Invoicing and Billing: Generate accurate invoices and estimates for customers and manage billing inquiries. Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the accounting system.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding service by ensuring all customer orders are processed efficiently. Resolve any order-related issues and communicate effectively with customers regarding their inquiries and order status.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on order status and vendor performance to aid in management decisions.
- System Management: Utilize QuickBooks (and future software such as Odoo) to input data, generate reports, and manage customer and vendor information.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in order management, ideally within a retail or showroom environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and the ability to learn new software systems like Odoo.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Experience in a customer service role is preferred.

Pay: $17.80 - $20.31 per hour
