Heart of Chelsea Veterinary Group, part of the Suveto network of hospitals, was founded in 1999 as a neighborhood veterinary practice that excels in delivering thorough, compassionate care and an extraordinarily high standard of concierge client service.

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator that will support marketing efforts across all Heart of Chelsea locations while aligning with Suveto’s broader marketing strategies. This role works closely with hospital leadership, practice managers, Suveto Marketing Managers, and the Suveto Marketing team to plan and execute campaigns that increase brand awareness, client engagement, and community involvement.

This position plays a key role in promoting clinical services, building brand recognition, developing partnerships, and ensuring all initiatives reflect Suveto’s overall marketing vision. Core responsibilities include managing social media, coordinating community events, running promotions, and supporting digital marketing efforts to deepen connections with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong organizational, creative, and communication skills. They are confident managing multiple projects, identifying new opportunities, and representing Heart of Chelsea with professionalism and warmth, fostering a collaborative, client-centered environment across all locations. Salary range $65,000-$80,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns aligned with Heart of Chelsea’s goals and Suveto Marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance to track progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and share key insights with hospital teams.
  • Collaborate with practice stakeholders and the Suveto Marketing team to enhance campaign effectiveness and ensure alignment with hospital objectives.
  • Maintain an understanding of local market trends, competitor activity, and the ideal client demographic for each hospital; conduct or coordinate research as needed.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing collateral in partnership with the Suveto Marketing team.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials and communication channels.
  • Attend key hospital meetings to gather insights, share updates, and ensure strategies support hospital priorities.
  • Lead or co-lead marketing-related meetings as needed to support planning, team engagement, and execution.

Social Media & Digital Content Management

  • Create and manage a hospital-specific social media strategy, including an annual plan, monthly themes, and a content calendar aligned with hospital and Suveto goals.
  • Plan, create, and publish organic content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Ensure a minimum of three posts per week per hospital, maintaining consistency, brand voice, and quality.
  • Work with hospital teams to build an internal content funnel that supports timely and relevant content generation.
  • Visit hospitals regularly to capture original content—photos, videos, client stories—that reflects each hospital’s personality and services.
  • Develop content partnerships with community organizations to support organic campaigns and increase engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to positive online reviews and social media engagement; share relevant feedback with hospital leadership.
  • Provide a monthly summary highlighting top-performing posts, engagement insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Support hospital website content updates and assist with digital marketing projects as needed.

Community Engagement & Event Planning

  • Develop an annual community engagement strategy for each Heart of Chelsea location, including partnerships with local organizations and a minimum of two hospital-hosted events per year.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for local vendors, businesses, and community groups to support hospital outreach.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend community events, trade shows, sponsorships, and appreciation initiatives to professionally represent the hospital.
  • Identify and support opportunities for hospital involvement in local initiatives and educational outreach, working closely with Suveto Marketing and hospital leadership.

Branding, PR & Partnership Development

  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and local stakeholders to strengthen both Heart of Chelsea and Suveto brand presence.
  • Work with the Suveto Marketing Manager and PR contacts to secure media coverage and increase brand awareness through strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinate with doctors and thought leaders for interviews, content development, and media opportunities following coverage.
  • Identify influencer and collaborative content opportunities to further hospital and brand reach.

Client Communication & Engagement

  • Develop and manage client communication strategies, including email campaigns, educational messages, reminder texts and emails, and text templates—all aligned with hospital goals and Suveto brand standards.
  • Create and maintain a library of approved communication templates for appointment reminders, seasonal updates, service announcements, and follow-up care.
  • Oversee communication platforms (email, text, phone) to ensure timely delivery of messages about wellness visits, appointments, preventive care, and promotions.
  • Support hospital staff in responding to client messages on email, text, and social media in a timely, professional, and brand-aligned manner.
  • Track open rates, response rates, and client feedback to evaluate performance and improve communication strategies.
  • Ensure all messaging complies with branding guidelines and privacy regulations in collaboration with Suveto Marketing.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Order and manage promotional materials such as branded giveaways, signage, and client appreciation gifts.
  • Maintain alignment of internal branding assets (e.g., signage, collateral, digital materials) with Suveto and Heart of Chelsea marketing objectives.
  • Track hospital-led marketing expenses and remain aware of budget constraints to ensure cost-effective execution.

Collaboration & Internal Communication

The Marketing Coordinator plays an integral role in cross-functional collaboration across all Heart of Chelsea locations and with the broader Suveto team. This position requires consistent communication, coordination, and relationship-building with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing efforts are aligned, effective, and responsive to the needs of each hospital.

Key Working Relationships

  • Hospital Director: The Hospital Director is the primary decision-maker. The Marketing Coordinator will schedule and lead a quarterly strategy call to present upcoming events, campaign priorities, and marketing materials for the quarter, ensuring alignment on strategy.
  • Medical Directors: Collaborate regularly to review and gather feedback on any client-facing materials or promotions involving medical services to ensure clinical accuracy and alignment.
  • Digital Operations Manager & Office Manager: Coordinate on client communication tools and systems, including online appointment applications and integrations with practice management software.
  • Practice Managers & Doctors: Maintain regular communication to ensure that current promotions are clearly understood and effectively communicated to staff and clients. This includes distributing talking points and supporting internal alignment.
  • Suveto Marketing Team: Partner closely with Suveto Marketing Managers and team members to align Heart of Chelsea marketing efforts with national strategies, access shared resources, ensure brand consistency, and collaborate on multi-location or company-wide initiatives.

On-Site & Travel Expectations

  • This role includes a dedicated workspace at a Heart of Chelsea practice.
  • The Marketing Coordinator must be on-site at a hospital at least two days per week.
  • All Heart of Chelsea locations must be visited at least once per month to gather content, collaborate with staff, and ensure marketing efforts are aligned across locations.
  • Some travel may be required (5-10%)

Meetings & Reporting

  • Monthly Leadership Meeting: Attend and report in person. Present a monthly marketing update, covering campaign performance, key initiatives, and progress on promotions.
  • Be prepared to speak to key KPIs, including but not limited to: New client numbers, Online booking rates, Forward booking rates, Lapsing and active client counts, Online reviews and satisfaction ratings, Promotion performance and engagement, and a general awareness of current advertising platforms and marketing channels.
