Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our grounds, ensuring a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment. This role requires a hands-on approach to lawn care, landscaping, and general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass and plants.
• Manage garden areas by planting, watering, and weeding to promote growth and visual appeal.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely for various maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, and debris removal.
• Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Conduct landscape maintenance by maintaining flower beds, shrubs, and trees to enhance property aesthetics.
• Assist with groundskeeping duties including litter removal, snow shoveling in winter months, and maintaining pathways.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Skills

• Proficiency in lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
• Experience with operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions
