We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases, and reconciling invoices. If you are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Willingness to learn and trainability.
- Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies.
- Preparing bank deposits.
- Checking spreadsheets for accuracy.
- Maintaining digital and physical financial records.
- Reviewing and filing documents.
- Participating in audits.
- Answering incoming communications via email and phone and directing as needed.
Requirements:
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software.
- Organization skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
