Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Taunton, MA —or— Providence, RI (hybrid schedule possible)
TAKON Talent has been engaged by one of our valued clients to identify an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) professional. Please note: this position is with our client; the successful candidate will be hired directly by them, not by TAKON Talent.
- Competitive pay: $65,000 – $75,000 base bonus potential

- Manage the full accounts‑receivable cycle: invoicing, cash application, aging analysis, and reconciliation
- Drive timely collections on outstanding balances; maintain DSO and delinquency targets
- Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues, negotiate repayment plans, and document all interactions
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to mitigate billing disputes and escalate problem accounts
- Prepare weekly AR and collections reports for leadership; recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and relevant regulations
- 3 years of high‑volume collections experience—mitigation, insurance, or accounting environments strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success reducing aging receivables and improving cash flow without extensive training or oversight
- Solid understanding of the entire AR lifecycle, credit terms, and dispute resolution best practices
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and MS Excel
- Strong negotiation, communication, and customer‑service skills
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting
- Base salary commensurate with experience: $65k–$75k
