What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own the payroll process from start to finish using the ADP system across multiple states—accuracy and timeliness are your superpowers.
- Stay sharp on all federal and state wage and hour laws to ensure compliance and excellence in every paycheck.
- Generate clear, insightful payroll reports on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis (think: gross payroll, hours worked, tax and benefit deductions, and more).
- Be the go-to expert for payroll questions and resolve issues with speed, care, and adherence to company policies.
- Handle wage garnishments and benefit deductions with diligence and compliance.
- Jump into exciting cross-functional HR projects that support our company’s big-picture goals and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct professional employment verifications and reference checks with discretion and speed.
- Keep critical payroll and headcount reports accurate and up to date.
- Help organize and recommend staff training programs that elevate our team’s skills and success.
- Bring a strong sense of customer service to both employees and internal partners—we’re all in this together.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of payroll and HR experience.
- Proven skills in ADP Payroll systems and Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and Access.
- Impeccable attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while meeting every deadline.
- A high level of professionalism, sound judgment, and a true sense of urgency.
- The ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality—always.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, even under pressure.
Education: Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required
Experience: 2–4 years in a similar payroll/HR role
Computer Skills: Proficient in ADP, Microsoft Office, and general HRIS systems
Salary : $23 - $25
