FULL DESCRIPTION: To perform this job successfully, the individual occupying this position must be able to perform essential job functions set forth below with or without reasonable accommodation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Utilize OnBase to record, store, and analyze invoice and vendor information
- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
- Review invoices for accuracy and code documents according to company procedures
- Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts
- Review and input invoices and check requests timely and accurately
- Prepare and process payments
- Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence
- Review accounts payable aging on a regular basis to ensure all items are properly recorded
- Prepare and distribute Form 1099s and all other related tax forms
- Assist accounting with month end close as required
- Correspond with vendors as needed to resolve payment issues
- Other duties as assigned
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Experience with an ERP system required, experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Competent with Microsoft Teams. Experience using Accounts Payable systems, such as OCR and workflow systems, strongly preferred.
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years related work experience
- Assures that safety regulations are followed at all times
- Follows policies and procedures including infection control, universal pre-cautions and exposure control plans when performing daily tasks.
- Reports hazardous conditions, accidents, and incidents to the immediate supervisor
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching as in an office setting
- Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, or chemicals
- Requirements with respect to vision, hearing, and speaking as in an office setting
