What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist, Membership Experience position at Tampa Bay Rowdies?
The Tampa Bay Rowdies are seeking a highly motivated ticket sales professional with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, openness to learning and entrepreneurial spirit. The Membership Experience Specialist is responsible for maintaining and generating Season Ticket Membership revenue. This role requires a strong ability to identify, develop, and foster relationships with members, as well as driving new membership. This is a full-time position with competitive pay, benefits, and paid time off. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed for home matches and other events.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for renewing, servicing, and upselling current season ticket holders.
- Seeks to meet and exceeds annual sales and retention goals.
- Responsible for making outbound calls, emails, and in-person appointments.
- Work closely with tickets operations staff on order fulfillment, ticket distribution, list building, account assignment, contracts, invoices, and transfers.
- Creates innovative ways to renew, cross-sell, and generate new business from current season ticket base.
- Deliver consistent and professional customer service.
- Delivers in-match seat visits with Rowdies Season Members.
- Develops and maintains relationships with current season ticket members.
- Assists in the execution Season Members events.
- Works with the Ticket Management on customer service issues.
- Responsible for relocation and upgrade process for season members
- Maintains accurate and detailed records of all current members within our CRM
- Assistance with daily and game day operations of the club related to ticketing, sponsorship activation, group experiences, and miscellaneous inquiries.
- Be able to work 16 Saturdays during the Rowdies regular season.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree required
- Knowledge of Soccer, Sports Business, or related industry preferred.
- Strong work ethic, organization, and desire to build a career in professional sports sales
- Experience working outbound call or customer service capacity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally both verbally and written with customers and individuals within the organization.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to achieve aggressive sales and service goals.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as the ability to learn and master new software programs including SalesLoft and Tickets.com.
