POSITION SUMMARY
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing incoming deliveries to the El Cajon Factory. The Receiving Clerk schedules deliveries, inspects cargo upon delivery and receives the items into Syspro. Additionally, the Receiving Clerk manages the order cards and stock code cards to support the 2-bin system. This position will work closely with the Purchasing and Finance departments to ensure that all items are accounted for correctly and transacted properly into Syspro.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Receive all parts, RQ's, Taylor Ware items and personal packages.
- Maintains RQ delivery log.
- Reconcile bin cards and works with Purchasing on late or missing orders.
- Facilitates inspection of incoming specialized items across the factory.
- Assists Warehouse Manager in establishing and maintaining "best practices" for the department.
- Inform Warehouse Manager on issues concerning warehouse procedures, personnel, etc.
- Communicate effectively with Purchasing, Finance and Production regarding incoming orders and proper documentation of receipts, shortages or immediate deliveries.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure processes are properly documented in standard work document form on BackStage Pass.
- Provides metrics on items received per day.
- Participates in the Warehouse team 5S activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Works directly with freight forwarders to schedule incoming shipments.
- Assists Lumber Coordinator when necessary for unloading, measuring and tagging lumber.
- Assists Warehouse team where necessary for PDD, TaylorWare or guitar related activities.
- Perform CTPAT inspections on incoming containers and follow all CTPAT guidelines for record retention.
- Assists in any and all other duties assigned.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation of all processes within the area.
- Responsible for creating, tracking and maintaining KPI's for area.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment, including (but not limited to) lifting 50 pounds, forklift operation, and must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 1-3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Requirements: Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, Experience with SYSPRO software preferred. Knowledge of how to use equipment and materials properly. Skill of operating machinery and tools in a safe manner. Forklift certified. Valid California Drivers License, with clean driving record.
