Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Electronics and Firmware Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electronic hardware, mechanical systems, and embedded software, with a proven ability to prototype, troubleshoot, and develop commercial-grade products. This role requires a collaborative mindset, effective communication skills, and a drive to innovate within interdisciplinary engineering fields.

Key Responsibilities

Electronic Hardware Development:

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot electronic hardware components and systems.
• Build electronics prototypes and perform PTH & SMD soldering for testing and validation.

Circuit & PCB Design:

• Create and refine circuit designs and PCB layouts using tools like Altium or equivalent software.

Embedded Firmware Development:

• Design and implement firmware for embedded systems, ensuring robust and efficient operation.

System Integration & Testing:

• Assemble hardware components and perform unit and system-level testing to validate performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot electronic systems and resolve technical issues effectively.

Communication Protocols:

• Implement and optimize I2C, I2S, SPI, UART communication protocols for seamless device integration.

Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical Systems:

• Apply a deep understanding of motors, actuators, and sensors to design hardware solutions.
• Develop hardware designs with a focus on durability, precision, and efficiency.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electronic systems.
• Present product demonstrations and technical solutions to stakeholders effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of electronic hardware components and systems.
• Expertise in electronics prototyping, including PTH & SMD soldering.
• Proficiency in circuit and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium).
• Hands-on experience with embedded firmware development and electronic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, I2S, SPI, UART).
• Core technical proficiency in mechanical and electro-mechanical systems (e.g., motors, actuators).
• Competency in hardware assembly and testing procedures.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
• Excellence in public presentations and product demonstrations.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in mechanical assembly and prototyping techniques.
• Experience turning designs into commercial/industrial-grade products.
• Fundamental programming skills and familiarity with collaborative robots (cobots) and robotic grippers.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or a related field.
