The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately documenting patient information and medical procedures in a timely and organized manner. Duties:
- Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, including taking and transcribing medical histories and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including diagnoses, medications, and test results.
- Assist in preparing patient charts and documents for medical procedures and consultations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to accurately document patient information.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to meet urgent care needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that medical records are complete and up-to-date.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) and other software to document patient information.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by healthcare providers and management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other relevant software.
