The Center for Prevention of Abuse (CFPA) is seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a full-time Domestic Violence Caseworker. Our mission at CFPA is to help all people – women, men, and children, live free from violence and abuse, and our domestic violence caseworkers help to bring that mission to life. The DV Family Caseworker will provide advocacy services for families in the emergency shelter and outreach clients, including but not limited to accessing community resources, providing domestic violence education and children’s exposure to domestic violence education, active listening and referrals for therapy, legal services, housing and jobs. They also will facilitate groups, answer crisis hotline calls, provide shelter operational duties, and prepare paperwork for shelter and outreach clients. Must have reliable transportation due to two shelter locations and must have open availability. Preferred education of a bachelor’s degree in education, social work, counseling, or related field. Must be passionate about CFPA’s mission, work well independently and as a team, and have exceptional soft skills.
