Lifeguard
Responsible for the safety and well being of pool users. Monitor pool activities; identify safety issues.
Hourly Pay Range: $16.34 - $19.01
Head Lifeguard
Provide lead supervision for lifeguards, monitor pool activities and function as a lifeguard.
Hourly Pay Range: $18.15 - $21.12
Staff training is held prior to start dates. Lifeguard class is scheduled for August 16 - 18, 8:00am - 4:00 pm. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact the Recreation Office at 763-509-5200.

- Plan, organize and direct activities for all ages in a recreation setting.
- Provide support as needed for all participants and staff to create an inclusive environment.
- Work as part of a team to ensure quality programs for all ages.
- Follow staff policies and procedures.
- Ensure all staff and participants follow the established policies and procedures.
- Provide a safe, fun and appropriate experience of all participants.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 15 years old by program start date
- Current lifeguard certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, function well under stress, show respect and compassion and be customer focused.
- Desire to work in a team environment with a commitment to the success of the program.
Head Lifeguard

- Must be 18 years old by program start date
- Current lifeguard certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a lifeguard
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, function well under stress, show respect and compassion and be customer focused.
- Demonstrated ability to lead lifeguards
- Desire to work in a team environment with a commitment to the success of the program.
Salary : $16 - $19
