Director of Finance

ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a 30-year industry leader that is hiring a DIRECTOR OF FINANCE to lead all areas of accounting and reporting and LEAD an upcoming NetSuite implementation!

**Hybrid Schedule Very competitive base salary BONUS**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage daily operations of the Accounting Department.
• Guide the accounting team to ensure clear communication with internal leadership and external clients or consultants.
• Work with the Controller to create, document, and implement scalable policies that drive continuous improvement.
• Lead staff training and development for ERP implementation.
• Conduct regular reviews of financial processes to maintain compliance with GAAP, regulations, and audit standards.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of team members.
• Leverage NetSuite to interpret financial data and assess business performance.
• Present financial updates, performance metrics, and risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
• Improve processes by integrating technology, process management, and collaboration across departments.
• Simplify financial recording of sales transactions and standardize procedures across teams such as Sales, Billing, FP&A, and Cash Management.
• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting practices in accrual accounting and contract management.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and lead initiatives to improve financial aspects of Client Services.
• Address financial inquiries and delegate tasks to ensure prompt resolutions.
• Collaborate with IT to support system training and ensure platform security.
• Research and resolve complex accounting system challenges.
• Provide analysis and support for financial operations and special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• NETSUITE = HUGE PLUS
• CPA preferred but not required
