Human Resource Generalist - 108276
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Human Resource Generalist to join their team in the manufacturing industry in Centre County. As a Human Resource Generalist, you will play a critical role in maintaining files, ensuring prompt follow through of tasks, and conducting thorough communications throughout the organization.
*Schedule: Full-time
*Pay: $50,000 /year (DOE)
*This is a direct hire position.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Know and follow all applicable HSE policies and procedures, including Hazard ID's and JSA's.
- Follow all Affirmative Action regulations and laws.
- Follow all Labor Law (i.e., FMLA, ADA, etc.).
- Act as EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) Coordinator for the facility.
- File and maintain all certificates of liability.
- Ensure legal compliance with all employee related federal/state laws.
- Manage Workers Compensation claims and Unemployment claims.
- Provide monthly Corporate and internal reports.
- Assures that all employees are aware of our code of conduct, operating principals and core values.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
