The Head of ZTE Transformation and Strategy - North America reports to the Head of ZTE - North America and is responsible to lead, execute and deliver optimal Long-Term strategy, manufacturing processes, and system solutions by incorporating new and existing technologies across multiple factories and build the End State view of Manufacturing of the future. The main objective of this role is to identify specific areas where manufacturing solutions could provide substantial benefits (KPI improvements, cost optimization, production uptime, production throughput, and quality improvements) and support other functions to gain the aligned benefits across operations. Is also responsible for increasing the productivity and ensure the growth of the organization and attract new talent by improving future employee abilities through coaching, mentoring, and assisting in the new ways of working.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Expert knowledge with at least 5 years' experience in Operations and implementation of large-scale business projects.
- 5 years of management experience with direct reports.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
- Responsible for managing the Transformation Agenda in Manufacturing.
- Lines of the Future - Coordinate with Engineering team the long-term vision on the assets and processes.
- People Capabilities - Lead the Agenda on the Long-term profile of Manufacturing Capabilities, skills, and knowledge.
- Innovation of Manufacturing - Bring new solutions and tools that will disrupt our department in the future. Experience in management.
- Substantial knowledge of business functions, processes and supporting technology in an industrial company.
- Position holder is experienced in information and data management for Operations process improvement.
- Experience leading a cross functional team on fast-paced projects in Operations environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading organizations through large-scale change management initiatives that influence culture, define tools & processes, and improve competencies.
- Ability to lead multiple strategic initiatives under time and resource constraints, as well as the ability to deliver in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Interact with Commercial BUs, Marketing, Zone Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistic, Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing Leadership, Plant Managers, CI, maintenance and Engineering Managers, S&OP Planning and External Manufactures.
- Communicate with Global and NA senior LT members.
Work Environment & Schedule
This position is considered a Normal office environment with moderate travel to customer locations, stores, manufacturing facilities, etc.; offices are open workspaces Additionally, this role requires normal working hours and travel up to 40%.
