Job Summary
We are a fast-paced immigration law firm looking for a motivated individual to join us as a Part-Time Mail Clerk. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English, responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing mail and ensuring that all correspondence is processed efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming mail to appropriate departments.
- Prepare outgoing mail by weighing, stamping, and labeling packages for shipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all mail transactions, including creating reminders, tracking shipments and deliveries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the office environment.
Skills
- Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English (required).
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for filing and document management.
- Proficiency in office management practices
- Self-motivated and proactive in completing assignments.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, scanning software, etc.).
- Knowledge of immigration processes and office experience is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
