Event Coordinator Assistant/Bar Manager
The main focus of the Event Coordinator position is to ensure that every event held at Kestrel Ridge Golf Course is executed to our high standards. Making sure that every need of our clients and their guests are met with an understanding of their goals, a knowledge of their event order & a pleasant attitude.
You will be responsible for the overall set up of the Ballroom for each event. The bar, food, catering area, linens, tables will all be your responsibility. You will have an event staff to help you clean up, maintain and set up for each event.
Working under the Food & Beverage Director, you will also be responsible for helping with weddings, retirement parties, holiday parties, and other such events in our clubhouse.
You will hold our employees to extremely high standards for each event, and work with our F&B Director to put new trainings into place.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create & manage opening and closing lists
- Social media content – FB, Instagram, Pinterest for all F&B & some golf.
- Manage point of sale software.
- Help in golf shop or other departments when needed.
- Create & manage systems for storage and location of all needed items.
- Create & manage bar needs lists, 1 for all the time needs and event specific needs
- Manage hours of support staff
- Manage night staff for a flip of the spaces or spaces for early morning next day events
- Reconciling and follow-up on bar sales, monitors cash access and are responsible for cash inventories, beverage cart bags, safe, etc.
- Oversees first class food and beverage operation
- Personally visible and accessible to guests
- Is aware at all times of what is happening throughout the entire operation
- Assist in Planning, Coordinating, and executing of training programs
- Monitors safety procedures
- Receives and resolves complaints from guests and personnel
- Participates in facility inspections to assure that cleanliness, safety, and other standards are consistently attained.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in banquet preparations
- Successful track record in controlling costs
- Possess a high level of standards and motivation for events and their success
- Dedicated to career growth
- Willing to work days, nights, holidays and/or weekends
- Demonstrate excellent team leadership skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,906.00 - $48,600.00 per year
