What are the responsibilities and job description for the Academic Advisor 2 position at The Ohio State University?
This position requires face-to-face interactions with students, faculty, and staff. This position will provide academic advising to students in the College of Nursing undergraduate programs. Fosters student success by implementing proactive and appreciative advising strategies that help students stay on track to fulfill their educational goals. Advises students on University policy and procedures, program and degree requirements, and related academic matters.
Assists in student orientation, and other special events while also supporting initiatives of the Office of Student Affairs and Success. Contributes to the objective of the grant initiative focused on addressing social determinants of health. Connects students to campus resources on topics and services related to information for students, including academic, career, financial, psychological, etc. Teaches University Survey course.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Master's degree required. 0 years of relevant experience required, but 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
