Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Duties
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including HR sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee performance management processes, ensuring timely evaluations and feedback for all staff members.
- Facilitate conflict management by addressing employee concerns and mediating disputes to promote a harmonious work environment.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop strategies for talent acquisition.
- Oversee payroll processing and timecard reviews.
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development.
- Create and implement new policies and procedures as needed with assistance from other managers and directors.
- Create and maintain employee files, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Oversee benefits
- Analyze HR metrics to drive decision-making, create solutions, and recommend policy improvements.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.).
- Take a hands-on approach with leaders to help drive business results, improve working relationships, strengthen morale, and increase productivity and employee engagement.
- Correspond with insurance brokers.
- Coordinate insurance training for employees prior to the new benefits year.
- Assist current employees with insurance questions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and industry trends to ensure compliance and effectiveness in all HR initiatives.
