The Phillip Charles Group has been servicing the local Metro Detroit area for the past 30 years and has built incredibly strong partnerships with our clients, candidates and employees. We have worked with our current client for the past 5 years and they are looking for a strong Part Time HR Generalist for a possible Contract to Hire opportunity in their Melvindale, Mi. location.
Part Time Human Resource Generalist Job Responsibilities:
• Will be using an outsourced payroll system
• Responsible for inputting hours onto spreadsheets, proofing them, gathering hours, tracking, and auditing hours
• Create policies and procedures
• Update and create information for the handbook
• Recruit and hire employees
• Communicate and work with staffing agencies
• Handle employee concerns and issues
Pay rate $22-$28/hr
Hours Mon-Fri 8am-2pm, may have to work 12pm-5pm occasionally

Part Time Human Resource Generalist Skills Needed:
• Experience with ADP or a similar system
• Strong organizational skills
• Well versed in Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
