Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order completion.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals for the company.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Utilize MRP systems to forecast inventory requirements and manage stock levels effectively.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
- Assist in contract management by reviewing terms, conditions, and compliance with company policies.
- Analyze market trends and pricing strategies to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and inventory status for management review.
Experience
- Proven experience in procurement management or supply chain management is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to fabricate reports that support decision-making processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
