The Surf Lodge is seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Marketing to lead the brand’s marketing, digital strategy, and creative initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of luxury hospitality marketing, social media management, content creation, brand partnerships, and public relations. The ideal candidate is a storyteller, brand builder, and digital expert who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, increase guest engagement, and solidify The Surf Lodge’s reputation as a premier lifestyle destination. This includes overseeing social media, digital marketing, influencer collaborations, event marketing, partnerships, and PR efforts to maximize brand impact across all touch points.
This position is based in Montauk, NY, from April through September and has the potential for a year-round role to lead marketing efforts at our winter property, The Snow Lodge in The St. Regis, Aspen (November-March).
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Development:
- Develop and execute an omnichannel marketing strategy to enhance The Surf Lodge’s brand positioning, guest experience, and revenue growth.
- Oversee all brand messaging, marketing materials, and digital presence to ensure alignment with The Surf Lodge’s luxury lifestyle and hospitality identity.
- Identify emerging marketing trends and leverage data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximize ROI.
Social Media & Content Strategy:
- Lead The Surf Lodge’s social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms to drive engagement and brand awareness.
