Job Summary:
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is to lead both internal and external initiatives that strengthen our brand, boost teammate engagement, and drive business growth. This position will ensure our marketing strategy aligns with our company culture and expansion efforts while also encompassing our company wellness initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute a strategic communications plan that includes both teammate engagement/recognition and community outreach.
- Plan and implement internal initiatives to improve team morale and company culture.
- Represent the company at public events and networking opportunities.
- Oversee internal and external messaging, ensuring brand consistency.
- Manage company newsletters, social media, and public relations efforts.
- Lead engagement programs, sponsorships, and community partnerships.
- Work with the existing marketing specialist to coordinate branding and digital marketing efforts.
- Create and implement a wellness culture across the organization.
Qualifications
Qualifications / Skills:
- Ability to work in a team environment / atmosphere.
- Ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
- Experience in event planning, public relations, and teammate engagement initiatives.
- Strong sense of creativity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines.
- Flexibility
- Efficient on a computer and familiar with common software and systems (Canva, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including but not limited to public speaking and presentations.
- Leadership skills, such as the ability to motivate a team and provide feedback when necessary.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- At least one year of marketing experience preferred.
Safety:
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures.
Travel:
Travel to surrounding counties during the day is required as needed.
