The responsibility of the Property Manager is to rent apartments, keep the grounds looking great, guide and assist coworkers with tasks, and oversee the overall community so that all is in order and working with the utmost efficiency. This position also helps keep the occupancy rate of the apartment community at or about 97%; treats every prospective resident and every current resident— everyone who walks in the door—as an honored guest; deals with every resident request and complaint promptly, schedules work with maintenance and staff, and follows through to see that the work has been accomplished.
1 or more years of property related management/leasing experience preferred.
AA or higher preferred.

- Maintenance and Facility Management: Understanding of building maintenance processes and preventative care strategies.
- Marketing Strategies: Knowledge of property marketing, pre-leasing strategies, and resident retention practices.
- Real Estate Market Trends: Awareness of local real estate markets, property values, and competitive analysis.
- Property Management Software: Familiarity with industry-specific software for tracking leases, managing tenant communications, processing payments, and generating reports.
- Microsoft Office Products: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for managing communications, financial data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Skills:
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management abilities to effectively lead property staff, including leasing agents and maintenance teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve tenant complaints, manage crises, and troubleshoot property-related issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with tenants, staff, vendors, and upper management.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in managing property budgets, handling financial statements, and conducting rent analyses.
- Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating rental contracts, vendor agreements, and resolving disputes.

Salary : $35,620 - $55,000
