Heavy Equipment Operator - Highway Department

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Heavy Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy machinery, including bulldozers, excavators, graders, and loaders, to assist in the construction, maintenance, and repair of highways, roads, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating heavy equipment to grade surfaces, excavate materials, and transport heavy loads
• Maintaining and operating equipment safely, adhering to all safety regulations
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating heavy equipment in highway or construction projects
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment maintenance
• Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) preferred
