Candidates may be required to complete a physical fitness test, oral board interview, psychological, medical examination, and a thorough background investigation prior to employment. Responsibilities
- Enforce laws and regulations while maintaining public safety and order.
- Write detailed reports documenting incidents, arrests, and investigations.
- Drive patrol vehicles to monitor assigned areas and respond to emergencies.
- Manage conflicts and de-escalate potentially dangerous situations.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals.
