Job Summary:
Provider Relations Contract Administrator plays a crucial role in preparing and managing contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies with the language and transportation vendors in our network. This position involves direct interaction with vendors partners and their staff, ensuring clear communication and efficient operations. Administrators are responsible for requesting required documents to complete the new onboarding process, requesting updated or missing documents to maintain compliance, identify potential risks of non-compliance vendor partners, maintain organized records systematically and work on other projects as needed to assist the Vendor Advocates in maintaining a successful relationship.
Essential Functions:
Contract Preparation:
· Organize and file all relevant onboarding documents systematically.
· Draft and review contracts for all necessary requirements have been met.
· Update change request from our vendor partners in a timely manner.
Compliance Monitoring:
· Ensure all contracts comply with legal & regulatory requirements and company policies.
Risk Analysis:
· Identify potential risks associated with contract agreements.
Record Maintenance:
· Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documents.
Data Management and Analysis:
- Accurately document all inquiries and enter all information and outcomes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage initiatives to improve profit margins, coverage areas, and quality.
Project Participation:
- Participate in internal or external projects as required.
- Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in a diverse and team environment.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Prior provider relations, contract specialist or logistics experience preferred.
· Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
· Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.
· Ability to adapt to fluctuating workflows and priorities.
- Must be professional and comfortable making decisions.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and members to achieve goals.
- High critical thinker with a strong work ethic.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Multitasking skills and the detail-oriented focus required for a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the healthcare or workers’ compensations industry is a plus.
· High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Understanding of HIPAA protocols and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
· Commitment to continuous improvement and performance excellence.
· Proficient in basic PC operations, including Windows OS, internet, and mainstream web browsers.
· Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
