What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title Closer position at Transfer Title Agency, Inc.?
Transfer Title Agency is a business located in Medina, OH that handles residential and commercial real estate closings, refinances, and issuance of title policies/reports.
We are seeking a full time Escrow Officer/Closer with office hours of roughly 8:30 - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Escrow Officer Responsibilities:
- Becoming Notary Public and a Licensed Title Insurance Agent. (Employer is willing to cover these costs and it can be done within a short period of time.)
- Verifying the accuracy of land ownership documents.
- Conferring with buyers, sellers, and lending institutions.
- Ensuring all financial obligations have been met by the seller and the buyer and holding and transferring funds.
- Finalizing the real estate transaction and preparing closing reports.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Previous title company experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Closing Software (Ramquest Complete Closing preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, be a quick learner, efficient, good with numbers, dependable and organized.
- 4- year college degree or equivalent or military experience preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation, (some travel may be required for remote closings at customer's homes or businesses)

- Pay scale is negotiable depending on experience
