HR Specialist

TSG has an exciting opportunity for an HR Specialist with a global manufacturing company headquartered in Poway. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this role is an essential part of the HR team, responsible for coordinating and administering HR programs for both US and international employees. Key areas of focus include recruiting, onboarding, safety, and compliance. As a primary point of contact for employees and managers, the HR Specialist will provide guidance and support, while also managing various administrative tasks and programs such as employee recognition, temp-to-hire processes, safety training, and workplace ergonomics.

On-site, Poway 92064

Pay rate: $28-30/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries.
• Manage recruiting and onboarding processes, including temporary hires and intern programs.
• Coordinate employee recognition, safety programs, and HR compliance initiatives.
• Provide administrative support, maintain employee records, and manage office logistics (badging, visitor logs, etc.).
• Ensure safety compliance and coordinate workplace safety training.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, or related field (HR certification preferred).
• 5 years of progressive HR experience in recruiting, onboarding, safety, and compliance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems (Oracle Fusion Cloud/HCM preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
