Human Resources Representative

TRC is hiring for an HR Representative for a client located in Graham, NC!

What You Will Be Doing

• Serves as subject-matter expert for all HR functional areas with particular emphasis on employee relations, compensation, employee engagement, and performance management.
• Champion for organizational health and effective culture of cross collaboration.
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
• Assist with the administration and education of employee benefits.
• Performs administrative and record keeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include promotions, changes, separations, etc.
• Manage leave of absences to ensure full compliance with FMLA, State and Company policies.
• Collaborate with all Human Resources functions (Recruiting and Training) in the interest of establishing the department’s goals and initiatives.
  
  

What We Need

• High school degree required.
• 2-3 years of experience in technical recruiting or HR-related role.
• Knowledge of human resources best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other human resources technologies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with candidates, internal and external partners.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with food manufacturing or related industries a plus.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational psychology, or education preferred.
• HR Certification preferred.
