Job Title: Project Manager
Reports To: Sales Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of construction codes and a passion for managing projects from start to finish? We’re looking for a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the execution of our projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and client expectations are met. This is an individual contributor role focused on organization, communication, and hands-on project management.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, quality, and client expectations are met. Your key responsibilities include:
- Project Review:
Conduct in-depth reviews of project scope, timeline, and objectives.
Understand client expectations, deliverables, and potential constraints.
- Client Introduction:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
Outline your role and discuss project processes to ensure transparency.
- Timeline Development:
Collaborate with clients to establish detailed timelines, adjusting as necessary to meet their needs.
- On-Site Meetings:
Arrange site evaluations and coordinate meetings with clients and vendors as required.
- Vendor Relations and Scheduling:
Work closely with procurement to ensure vendor engagement and timely delivery of materials.
- Crew Assignment:
Collaborate with the scheduling coordinator to assign crews and prepare them for project-specific requirements.
- Materials and Payment Management:
Oversee material deliveries, collect payments, and manage invoices to keep projects on track.
- Initial Project Meetings:
Conduct kickoff meetings with clients and crews to align expectations and address concerns.
- Problem-Solving and Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact for resolving issues during the project lifecycle.
- Ongoing Management and Payment Collection:
Track project progress, ensure compliance with county codes, and manage payment schedules.
- Final Vendor Coordination:
Ensure all vendors complete their work on schedule and resolve any outstanding issues.
- Final Walkthrough:
Conduct final walkthroughs with clients to confirm satisfaction and close out the project.
Requirements:
- Experience working with IRC construction codes or similar.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with construction project management software or tools.
- Understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial tracking.
- Knowledge of building permits, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain client and vendor relationships.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
