Accounting Reporting Analyst (40829)
Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for an Accounting Reporting Analyst. This company is looking for someone with 2 of accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and a process improvement mindset. The salary range for this position is $70k-80k.
The Accounting Reporting Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare assigned quarterly and annual statutory financial statement pages/schedules.
- Assist with analyzing account balances and income statement activity in response to state department requests.
- Manage annual state form filings across multiple states and entities.
- Communicate directly with state departments as needed.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain required information in a timely manner.
- Assist with the unclaimed property escheatment process.
- Gather and reconcile tax-related balances.
- Support tax payment remittance and vendor coordination.
The Accounting Reporting Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
- 2 years of accounting experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Process improvement mindset.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
