POSITION SUMMARY
Materials Handler performs and maintains a variety of warehousing duties required in the maintenance of the store rooms for medical supplies, equipment/materials and accountability. Incumbent is responsible for ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and other internal controls to provide for the control and safeguard of TCRHCC assets.
Qualifications
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- Must complete training on inventory and supply chain management with department
- Must have knowledge or experience of basic computer functions
Other Skills and Abilities:
A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers. All employment references must address and indicate success in each one of the following areas:

Physical:
Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, and maintain balance for ¾ of workday; frequently will need to be able to sit, bend, twist, and reach; occasionally will need to drive, climb, kneel, and crouch. Incumbent will be required to be able to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds ¾ of day; must be able to lift to 50 pounds frequently; and up to over 100 pounds occasionally. Incumbent must be able to push/pull up to over 100bs frequently. Sensory requirements include the ability for far, near, color vision; depth perception; seeing fine details; hearing normal speech for a prolonged period during workday. Must be able to frequently use the telephone and occasionally hear overhead pages on a loudspeaker. Incumbent must be able to utilize hand manipulation for simple/firm grasping, fine manipulation and use of keyboards for prolonged period.
Mental:
The Incumbent must be able to concentrate for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to frequently cope with high level of stress; make decisions under high pressure; copy with anger/fear/hostility of others in a calm way; handle a high degree of flexibility; handle multiple priorities in stressful situation; work alone; demonstrate high degree of patience; adapt to shift work. Environmental:
