*Job Summary*
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a student housing property. Your role involves assisting with tenant relations, property maintenance, and administrative tasks.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist in leasing activities, including showing units to prospective tenants and processing applications
- Coordinate maintenance and repair requests from tenants and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate records of property-related transactions and expenses
- Assist in rent collection and follow up on late payments
- Support the Property Manager in enforcing lease agreements and property rules
- Handle inquiries from current and prospective tenants regarding property features, availability, and rental terms
*Skills*
- Proficiency in property management software such as Appfolio for managing leases and financial transactions
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures related to property management and leasing
- Strong office skills including data entry, filing, and document management
- Familiarity with student housing is a plus
- Ability to manage customer relationships effectively
- Administrative capabilities to handle contracts, agreements, and correspondence
- Aptitude for negotiating lease terms with tenants
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
