The company is looking for a safety-conscious candidate that is willing to learn and grow with the business. This is a role where you will work in a TEAM environment where safety always comes first.

Job Requirements

• Follow the WPS, as specified on the applicable job card, weld plates together using a FCAW method as required
• Knowledge and ability to read blueprints to form metals
• Locate material, verify grade, size, and quantity by visual inspection and physically measuring material
• Attention to detail and to produce a quality product as well as always putting safety first
• Assist in other areas of the facility as needed
• Troubleshoot routine process problems
• Read, understand, and adhere to all processes, procedures, and safe work practices
• Maintain work area in an organized, safe, and clean manner
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Must be available to work any shift
• Ability to work within a teamwork environment with regular and predictable attendance
• Able to pass all pre-employment requirements
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Ability to demonstrate basic welding skills in the 1,2 & 3 F positions using stick, MIG, Flex
• Ability to safely operate a lift truck up to 40,000-pound lift capacity.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools such as grinder, hammer, wrench, and pry bar.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and standard measurements
• Previous work experience in an industrial environment
