The purpose of the Customer Experience Coordinator (CEC) is to ensure customers feel appreciated and valued whether they call or enter your Studio. They are responsible for delivering a positive and friendly interaction every time. They are customer advocates whose purpose is to exceed their expectations and make each customer’s waxing experience seamless and to their liking.
Experience: Receptionist, salon/spa experience, retail and computer skills preferred. Licenses: No license required
The Customer Experience Coordinator (CEC) performs an essential role in the Studio’s overall performance and day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include:
Manage the Studio’s appointment book optimally Open and/or close the Studio
Balancing register in morning
Answering the phone following Uni K Wax guidelines Booking appointments for customers
Inputting info from intake forms into system, initializing and filing them properly before shift end Following procedure when checking each customer in and out of the Studio
Enters every customer into the Loyalty Reward program
Collects payment for services
Filing paperwork
Checks Studio voicemail and calls back all customers.
Confirm appointments for customers that don’t have an email or SMS
Cleaning Studio front door, product, display shelves, TVs, reception, waiting area, waiting area furniture, computer hardware, and any additional area as needed
Merchandising retail products, and manages bags and tissue paper for retail product sales Refills all collateral, Studio forms, refreshments, organizes magazines in the reception. Counting drawer at the beginning of a shift and completing end of day deposits.
Customer Experience Coordinator Manual
The CEC is also responsible for coordinating each customer’s service, evaluating their experience, and offering a solution should it be less than they expected. Job duties include:
Making customers feel welcome at all times
Identify 1st time Uni K Wax customers and provide information about the concept, wax and tour of
the Studio highlighting the Wax Lab
Answering questions by providing information on the Uni K Wax concept and wax
Advising customers regarding filling out the intake form entirely
Partnering with Lab Assistant in order to prepare for appointments ahead of time.
Offers product recommendation made by Waxer to each customer.
Accurately entering customer information into their profile on POS system. Serving as a liaison between customers and Waxers
Assigning walk-in services to Waxers based solely on availability
Engaging customers and making them feel comfortable in the waiting area
Offering customers Uni K Wax Programs (referrals, touch up, rewards, series, teens, etc.) Offering customers our great line of retail products
Supports marketing efforts by participating and/or promoting
Compliment customers and inquire about their experience at checkout
Uni K Wax brand ambassador both in and outside the Studio Exercises good judgment when solving issues
Is aware of surroundings inside and outside the Studio at all times
Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays. Fluent in English.
