As a Summer Biological Plant Technician, you will be instrumental in supporting research initiatives related to plant biology and environmental sustainability. Reporting to PMC staff, your core responsibilities will include assisting with conservation plant production, facility operations and collecting data, harvesting plots and cleaning seed. Additional tasks include also but are not limited to seeding, planting, irrigation, weeding, harvesting, and potting.
Essential skills: We are looking for individuals who are punctual, dependable, willingness to learn and enthusiasm about natural resources and plant sciences. A valid driver's license is required.
Start date is no later than early Jan. We have a flexible work schedule, and the position could be available through the summer. Join our team to contribute to meaningful environmental projects and advance your skills in a collaborative setting.
