Our client seeks a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable professional to join their team. Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, check requests, and ensure they match purchase orders and receiving slips.
• Code invoices accurately to the general ledger and input them into the accounts payable system.
• Review and prepare approved checks for payment, ensuring proper signatures and documentation.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of paid and open invoices, including aging reports and disbursement records.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice status and payment inquiries.
  
  

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of accounting practices, GAAP, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP applications, accounting software, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly and effectively.
