What are the responsibilities and job description for the BIM Detailer position at VECA Professional Services?
VECA Electric & Technologies has an opening for a CADD/REVIT Detailer for our Boise Site Office Building Information Modeling (BIM) Department. This position reports directly to the VDC Manager and works in partnership with Project Mangers, General Foreman staff, and Project Teams.

Duties include (but not limited to):
- REVIT detailing of Electrical gear/lighting/components based on submittal data.
- Assembly creation
- Creation of fabrication shop drawings
- Sheet, view and schedule creation for shop drawings
- QA/QC of Electrical drawings and models to ensure accuracy.
- Proper file management (following Standards).
- Managing Links (from various sources).
Job Requirements:
- Experience with Revit (2020-Current Version) and Navisworks (not required but a plus)
- Great Communication skills with a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail during review of drawings and models.
- Ability to travel from office to jobsites (and jobsite to jobsite) as needed.
- Knowledge of BIM (in Electrical Construction is preferred) and how it can be utilized to the End User’s benefit.
- Ability to fluctuate workflow to coincide with fast-track project schedules.
- Project schedule is 50-58hrs/week.
- Ability to give and receive constructive criticism with both Field and Office personnel.
- Drug testing and a background check are performed before employment is solidified. Random drug testing will continue throughout your employment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Industry Leading Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, DOE
