Position Summary
The PLM for PON products focuses on driving at a product level the revenue for PON products by working with a cross functional team that includes Sales, Systems Engineering, OCTO, R&D and Mfg Operations. He/she is also responsible for driving and communication of the PON product roadmap. Other responsibilities include
acting presenting product and roadmap to customers, product pricing and margin analyses, presenting at technical conferences, content generation with Marketing, writing detailed product requirements with OCTO, and actively working with sales management and supply chain on product forecasts for PON.

Duties & Responsibilities to include (but not limited to)
- Drive PON product revenue by working with sales teams and doing product presentations for customers
- Be Technical SME on PON technologies
- Write product requirements for software roadmap working with OCTO team
- Make priority calls for R&D on what features to develop in what timeframe
- Work with Marketing to develop marketing content for presentations and website.
- Work closely with Vecima industry partners on XGSPON solutions ecosystem
- Drive product forecasts working with Sales Management and Supply Chain
- Work closely with PON PLM team to develop sales training content including competitive analyses.
- 5 years of experience driving PON requirements and working with customers with PON technology.
- Detailed understanding of access network (L1-L3) protocols in PON environments as used in service provider networks to influence Vecima product and customer implementation decisions.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative and innovative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to present and interact with customer engineering teams and evangelize product decisions.
