To qualify for this position at the GS-12 level, you must meet the following requirement : SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : You must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the Federal Service that has given you the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of this position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience includes writing press releases, speeches and other promotional materials; building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, community partners and media outlets; evaluating and interpreting study findings; preparing oral / written reports and presentations; utilizing comprehensive knowledge of qualitative and / or quantitative methods for improvement of program effectiveness; conducting research and analyzing data on target audiences and campaign effectiveness; and developing and implementing communication strategies and public outreach campaigns. NOTE : Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must clearly indicate the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment.
