Position Summary : The Account Representative position for VGM HOMELINK will be responsible for aiding the Account Management and Sales teams through reporting, data analysis, strategic initiatives, and client relations. The ideal candidate will be organized and self-motivated with a strong desire and ability to learn. The position will offer the opportunity to communicate with individuals from multiple departments across HOMELINK and across VGM business units, while also managing client relationships.
Reports to : National Account Manager
Hours : Full-Time; 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday, with additional hours as necessary
Working Location : On-site in Waterloo, IA; hybrid - will need to be on-site in Waterloo, IA at least 3 days per week if within a 30-mile radius of Waterloo; or remote
Responsibilities of the Account Representative :
This is a fast-paced position and will be responsible for managing multiple tasks and projects with urgent deadlines simultaneously, require strong communication skills, personal drive, commitment to success and high attention to detail. This is a client-facing role and will require executive presence to represent VGM HOMELINK positively and professionally. Additional duties and responsibilities include :
- Manage select client relationships in collaboration with sales and account management teams
- Respond to client questions regarding services, billing and accounts payable
- Assist with account management initiatives, aligning sales and marketing activities
- Generate appropriate reports
- Analyze reports to identify trends, anomalies, reporting findings to the sales executive or account manager
- Track accounts, making sure we adhere to service level agreements, business standards, and billing best practices
- Act as a liaison between prospects / clients and HOMELINK operations
- Review client contracts and plan for renewals.
- Assist in research activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
